Ark installing mod just restarts download

Currently I am stuck on "installing" mods, the specific mod is Structures Plus. I play SP, and had everything running well, but Structures Plus updated the 15th or 16th. But now it is causing me issues. I can't load my saves or my structures and most of my items will be gone I know, but no matter how many times I unsubscribe, resubscribe, manually delete mod contents, etc, nothing seems to be working.

I am now taking to just trying to wait it out and hope it will work, but I have done this before to no success. I've read through a bunch of similar issues from mid 16, late 15, and tried all the suggestions there, but nothing. I can't do much in way of clean installs, etc, because I have to work with limited download limits thus the SP.

I used Dino Nests, since it was small. It downloaded, then proceeded to sit at "installing mods" with 2 instead of one. Upon rebooting ARK, it was properly installed and ready to go, Structures Plus was not Everything I have done has still left me at the "installing 1 mod" and "Copying mod data to game directory" loop that I seem to be stuck in.

Anybody have any ideas? I have had it happen with other mods, but I would just unsubscribe from them as I wasn't using them currently, this is the first mod that it has hit that was being used heavily in a save, so just unsubscribing and continuing isn't much of an option for me with this : After having some issues and needing to delete my save due to corruption, Structures Plus finnaly got out of its loop and installed. I don't know if the two are related, or if it was just a matter of timing, but it has corrected itself, at least for now.

Still no luck, so I guess until I can get it resolved or somebody is able to help, I may try my luck with the Moon conversion I downloaded a while back, see how that is! I was having the same issue with this mod for the last few days, unknowingly. Today I decided to look into it a little and when I tried to bring up the mod on the workshop in game This is ultimately unhelpful if it won't work for you, but hey, maybe it will and we can both begin enjoying the mod!

I actually am not really sure what happened to fix it for me, but I DID get it working. I didn't mark this as solved because I have had this issue multiple times before with other mods, some of Eco's, Annunaki after an update, to name a few. I honestly have no clue how to fix it, but it seems like it pretty much did the same for me as it did for you, so at least we can both use it now! I am having this kind of trouble as well. Mostly I just close ark and then open it again if it's taking to long This tends to be counter productive for me sometimes though.

My computer has hard drive issues it's dying on me and it's got an old processor so sometimes things for me take an extra long time to do even the simplist of tasks.

Don't know if that might be part of your problem or not. If it's been a long time since you defragged your computer maybe that could help it go by faster. Other then that most I can say is to leave it up, if it doesn't finish within an hour close it and then open and try again. Another thing to look at is see how much HD space you have left and what is being used for your Virtual memory cause if you're down to the last bit left you have on your hard drive that's going to cause you some problems too, doesn't have as much space to work with to move files from A to B to eventually C if you know what I mean.

At least from what I understand of the subject. I only know just enough to trouble shoot and get my computer to function somewhat decent so I could be wrong on these possible methods to help you out but it can't hurt to try and find ways to get your computer to run faster on it's own. Kry View Profile View Posts. This happened to me, here's how I fixed it: 1. Exit ARK and restart Steam 2. Verify ARKs files It'll take a while since it's insanely huge 3. It should now be able to load the mods. Unfortunately, this does remove any mod content you had on your worlds, but I don't think it's fixable and still able to keep everything you had.

Well i changed the name of the mod folder removed all old favorite servers i dont play anymore reverified the game it downoaded about 2. I fix this issue by going to Steams download page. Every time this happens to me I find it's actually steam not downloading the mod, Just queing it up.

So just check your downloads page to make sure the mod isn't stuck in a que. That's how I fix it at least. Griffinsong View Profile View Posts. A big mod was probably updating.
